Mr. Richard Strachan,
President
Fisher and Strachan
11820 Coakley Circle
Rockville, Maryland 20852
Dear Rich:
This is just a short
note to let you know that my recent job change from Transwestern-
Carey Winston to IBG Partners will not change my relationship with
Fisher and Strachan. As a construction manager, I look to establish
long term relationships with general contractors that can help me
leverage my time. That means GC's that I can rely upon to provide
accurate early budgets, minimize change orders for unforeseen items,
maintain or beat the project schedule, and complete punch list items
in a timely manner.
Fisher and Strachan
has consistently delivered on my projects whether it was a fast
track retail job like the fitness center in Ashburn, Virginia or
high-tech headquarters on I-270 like Broadsoft. On the jobs we've
worked on together, I spent less time putting out fires and explaining
change orders to the clients, which gave me more time to take on
new work. In this busy market, that's extremely important.
In my new position
with IBG, I will continue to be involved with managing tenant build-outs
as well as base building renovation work in the Washington area.
So be assured, you will be hearing from me. I will also be managing
projects in South Carolina and other eastern states. I can only
hope that for projects outside the Washington area I can find contractors
with the reliability and business ethics that your firm has provided
me over the years.
